If you own a business in the Chicago suburb of Barrington, you are probably aware that there are a number of Barrington advertising options available. Barrington is a great neighborhood to open a business. It is a village that has great natural settings with many trails, forest preserves, and streams. I decided that I wanted to open a small coffee shop in this neighborhood that would offer breakfast and lunch items.
I planned to launch a larger scale grand opening that would showcase the interior of my shop and give visitors the opportunity to sample some of my delicious coffees and the other menu items. I felt that an open house type of grand opening would give me the maximum exposure that I needed to build a steady base of customers. I knew that if customers had the opportunity to try my coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and soups that they would come back in again to purchase them. I selected an entire weekend for my opening.
A successful grand opening was going to be imperative to winning over the residents in the neighborhood. I looked into a number of different Barrington advertising options. I decided to take out an ad in a coupon mailer. I advertised the date of my grand opening and I listed the free products that would be available for sampling. I also though it would be a good idea to rent a bouncy jumper for the children so I put that information into the advertisement.
Next, I went and had a number of outdoor signs made up with the same information. They listed the dates and time that the grand opening would be held and that I would have samples of coffee, soups, and sandwiches ready. I placed these sign out in the front of my store and on the corner of the closest intersecting streets.
On the day of the grand opening I knew that I had selected the correct Barrington advertising options for my business. Around one hundred customers showed up on the first day and were so impressed by my beverages and food that they immediately went and placed orders for the full size versions. I intended on taking a loss on that weekend because I assumed that customers would just try the samples and then come back at a later date, but my sales ended up being fantastic. There was an even larger turn out on the second day of the grand opening as word of mouth must have been passed along. I am looking forward to serving the village of Barrington for a long time.
